The alternative marketplace for trading in shares First North opens very broad possibilities of financial market as well as the access to capital necessary for development and growth of companies.

First North is good for many companies, such as:

  • Growing companies aiming at expansion;
  • Companies, which need capital to get on new markets, gain competitive advantage on already taken markets or to grow through acquisition;
  • Family business companies living through generations change;
  • Companies planned for sale;
  • Companies, which would like to be taken on the lists of a regulated market (stock exchange).

A company involved into this market becomes better noticed, gets easier access to capital, uses other advantages provided by the market, satisfying lower requirements for getting into and being on the market. On the alternative stock exchange the requirements applied are slightly lower than on the markets regulated by the law, but a company gains benefit similar to the one, granted by inclusion on the trade lists of the main market. Therefore, the First North market is as if a step towards the main market. All companies willing to be included into the First North market must make a services supply agreement with one of the certified advisers approved by the stock exchange. The task of this certified adviser is to assist companies to get ready for entering to the alternative market and to supervise afterwards that the companies follow all requirements of the First North market.

In 2008 the private limited liability company "Verslo konsultacijų spektras" was awarded the name of a certified adviser of the alternative market First North.
